Health check-up camp 18th-19th January, 2016
Fulora Foundation and Highway traffic police had jointly organized Health Check-up camp and Road Safety Campaign on the 18th & 19th of January 2016 at the Khalapur food court, Mumbai – Pune expressway.
Even after decades of freedom, India is struggling to provide basic health services to its people. Fulora Foundation intends to provide healthcare services to meet the immediate health care needs of the travelers, drivers and police officers on the Mumbai – Pune Expressway for better travelling experience, for which Fulora puts in efforts to hold timely ‘health check-up camps’. ‘Fulora Foundation – Road Marshal’ since the last 2 to 3 years under the guidance of MSRDC, IRB and Traffic Police are sincerely working towards betterment of the Mumbai – Pune Expressway.
Present at the venue were Former Nagaraadhyaksa Shri Ramdas Shede, Floral Foundation – Executive Trustee Mr. Arun Sabnis, Mr.Manyaka Gandhi, Senior Police Inspector Ajit Bartakke (transport department), Asst. Inspector Arun Awhad (transport department) and Asst. Inspector Tukaram Joshi (transport department)
The treatments were for: fever, cold, cough, skin disorders, ECG, blood pressure, arthritis & eye examination. Low cost spectacles along with free distribution of medicines were also provided to the patients Help was provide by the doctors of Platinum Hospital, Mulund and Seven Hills Hospital, Andheri and also a few street play artists, who spread awareness about the importance of road safety & of leading a healthy lifestyle.
