Accident Free Expressway Campaign 7th November, 2015

In an attempt to communicate the importance of following safe driving rules on the Expressway, Fulora Foundation had organized different activities to create awareness among the general public on 7th November, 2015 at Khalapur food courts (Mumbai to Pune side & Pune to Mumbai side). These are very famous pit stops on the Mumbai Pune Highway. This watering hole is frequented by travelers, truck drivers etc. which made for a good place to conduct an awareness program on Road Safety.

In an effort to free Mumbai-Pune expressway from accidents, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2 lead actors Swapnil Joshi & Mukta Barve along with the director Satish Rajwade glorified the event with their presence. They even inaugurated a special supplement ‘Express Way’ published by Fulora Foundation, for distribution at leisure spots along the mighty Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Also, to comply with the driving rules of expressway, a ‘safe driving’ themed street play had been presented by special theater artists.

A large number of people attended the campaign. An overwhelming response was received by the attendees, as soon as Swapnil Joshi; Mukta Barve & Satish Rajwade arrived at the venue. They also took countless photos along with their favorite artists.

On this occasion, the police dignitaries who scurry around the clock to keep the highway safe and secure were honored for their valuable service.

A.S. Infra-Tech Pvt. Ltd. has taken up the initiative to convert Mumbai-Pune expressway into a safe & technologically advanced route through the installation of; electronic weigh bridge, truck lane, CCTV cameras & cat eye. It has partnered with Fulora for the betterment of this grand highway.
